CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

The constitution of the republic of Armenia was accepted 5th July 1995 as a result of national referendum. Constitution - the fundamental law of the republic of Armenia is the guarantee of the independent democratic society of Armenia, based on the command of social justice and law. In the constitution the following positions are fixed: - the basis of constitutional system; - basic rights and the freedom of man and citizen; - The President Of republic; - National Meeting (Parliament); - government; - judicial authority; - territorial administration and local self-guidance; - adoption, a constitutional reform and referendum; - transitional positions.
