STATE HOLIDAYS And THE DAYS OF THE MEMORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

In the republic of Armenia the following holidays of memory are established: From 31- GO of December through 6 January - christmas holidays. Holidays are: 31- e of December, the 1st and 2- e 4 (new yr), the 6th of January (Sv.Rozhdestvo and epiphany). 7 April - holiday of motherhood and beauty (holiday). During this day of man the gifts make to their mothers, wives, sisters, dear friends. 24 April - day of the memory of the victims of genocide of Armenians (not workday). 9 May - Day of Victory and peace (holiday). On 9 May Armenian people honors memory of hundreds of thousands of its sons, who in the years World War II battled against the fascism in the numbers of the armed forces of the Soviet Union and allies. 28 May - The day Of the first Republic (Holiday) on 5 July - Constitution day (Holiday). On 21 September - Independence Day (holiday ] the free and independent republic of Armenia was transport on 21 September, 1991. - according to the results of national referendum.
