Large family in a little house.

The Grigoryans’ large family living on School Str. 70, experience social difficulties, and have no supporters. Mkrtich Grigoryan is living in his small house with his wife, 4 children, brother who has a mental disability, and parents. His wife Valya Harutyunyan tells, that they sleep in the same room with their 4 children, who sleep on the floor. They gained illnesses because of humidity. Difficult life-style has a negative influence on children’s mental world. They dream about a house, which would fit everyone in it. According to Valya Harutyunyan they always have pasta as their daily food. It is a great occasion for children to have meat at least one day. Nobody works in the family. Father of the family, 44 years-old Mkrtich suffers from a hurt inadequacy. The only hope for surviving is the 38.000 drams social welfare payment. The smallest member of the family is one year old Angela, who cannot stand up because of the lack of food, and she was born with only one kidney. Grandmother Rima Martirosyan tells, there were cases when her grandchildren did not go to school, for not having shoes and clothes. And now proceeding from the social difficult conditions, the 3 children are sent to N1 special boarding school.
