Armenian company joins hands with international festival of puppet theaters in Armenia

Armenian telecommunications company VivaCell-MTS announces the opening of the Tumanyan Fairy Tale Day International Puppet Theater Festival on September 5, in Dsegh, Lori, the home village of the world known Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan.

«VivaCell-MTS to children is a commitment we are adamant to keep all over Armenia. A smile brought to our children’s face is worth treasures. The international festival of puppet theaters in Armenia is helping us to support the preservation of Armenian cultural traditions and educating our young generation in different tools», stated VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikyan.

Now for the fourth year, the festival gathers puppeteer companies from Armenia, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovenia, Georgia, and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Among the participants of the festival is the “Puy-puy” Theater after Derenik Demirtchyan from Javakhq.
